Data are a critical tool for understanding how sexually transmitted infections are impacting our community. The Onondaga County Health Department uses public health surveillance techniques to track the impact of sexually transmitted infections in Onondaga County. The Onondaga County Health Department regularly analyzes these data to identify and monitor trends and characteristics of populations in our community most impacted by sexually transmitted infections.
