2025 Project - CSO 066 - Evans Street Sewer Reconfiguration
2025 Project - CSO 066 - Evans Street Sewer Reconfiguration

Upcoming Infrastructure Work on Evans Street Areas

The County and contractor JJ Lane will begin a phased construction project starting August 11, 2025, impacting areas along Evans Street and Leavenworth Ave.  Work is dependent on the City's road cut permit, currently under review.

What to Expect

Traffic Impacts

  • No long-term closures are expected. Short-term or partial closures may occur, specifically Evans Street, between Maltbie Street and Leavenworth Avenue area in October.  Maltbie and Evans Streets may be single lane at times (coincide with bypass pumping for duration).

Restoration

  • All disturbed areas, including pavement, will be restored. Contractors will use equipment designed to minimize surface damage.

Stay Informed

  • We will continue to update the community as more details (like detour maps and timelines) become available. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this important infrastructure work. Contact WEP with any questions during construction.
