2019 Onondaga County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan
Onondaga County has completed the 2019 Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) for Onondaga County and its participating jurisdictions. The plan is required by state and federal agencies in order for communities in Onondaga County to be eligible for certain types of non-emergency disaster assistance, including funds for mitigation projects. The HMP has been approved by NYS DHSES and FEMA and should be adopted by each of the plan's local jurisditions.
