Change of Party Enrollment
Forms RECEIVED at your local board of elections up to and including February 14th will be accepted and processed. If you submit your party change online through DMV the deadline is midnight February 13th for electronic delivery on the 14th.
Changes received on or after February 15th until seven days after the June primary will be set aside and opened the seventh day following the June primary and entered in the voter’s registration record.
The qualifications for voting in New York State are as follows:
• Be a U. S. citizen;
• Be 18 years old (you may preregister at 16 or 17 but canonot vote until 18);
• Not be in prison for a felony conviction;
• Not claim the right to vote elsewhere;
• Not found to be incompetent by a court.

You may also register or update online at the MYDMV website. www.dmv.ny.gov

- Public Libraries
- Village/Town Clerk Offices
You can also complete an Accessible version of the New York State Voter Registration Form on-line by clicking here, typing the necessary information and selecting the appropriate boxes.
Once the form is completed, you need to print the form and sign and date it. Then, mail or deliver to our office.
