Dual Recovery

The Onondaga County Mental Health, Dual Recovery Program, addresses co-occuring mental health and substance use issues.

 

Dual Diagnosis

 

Systemic work is done with Central New York Providers to address:


  • Promoting Person-Centered Care
    - A holistic model addressing both mental health and substance use issues.

  • Coordinating Recovery Oriented Services
    - Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) is a coordinated network of community-based services and supports that is person-centered and builds on the strengths and resilience of individuals, families, and communities to achieve abstinence and improved health, wellness, and quality of life for those with or at risk.

  • Facilitating Special Projects
    - Include Medicaid Redesign, Peer Integration into Treatment Courts and Hospitals Statewide, Respite for High Risk Individuals, Onondaga County Drug Task Force, among others.

  • Providing/Coordinating Regional Training
    - Recovery Coaching
    - Motivational Interviewing

 

  • Oversight of Excellent Dual Recovery Supports
