The Onondaga County Child Care Workers at McCarthy Beard Program provides comprehensive services to address the severely emotional, behavioral, social, mental health and academic needs of children and adolescents between K-12th grades. Our goal is to work collaboratively with the child to support them. This is done through the use of tools such as the Individual Care Plans, Collaborative Problem Solving, Instruction of the Social Time Curriculum and Daily support and review of BIP and Focus Goals. We consistently collaborate with the Syracuse City School District to ensure we are all working together for the child or adolescent and referrals are done through the district.
