Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can I have my child detained?
A. The only way a youth can be detained at Hillbrook is by a court order.
A Judge (Family or Criminal Court) is the only person that can order a youth to detention.
If you are having problems with your child, there is help available through the Onondaga
County’s ACCESS Team.
ACCESS is a multi-disciplinary team, that includes Social Services, Probation, Parent Support Partners and practitioners, and is the lead agency when it comes to assisting parents and schools with issues relating to their child.
We encourage parents/guardians to contact the ACCESS Team directly to begin seeking services by calling 315-463-1100.
For more information go directly to the ACCESS website at Onondaga County ACCESS Program.

directly with youth.

A. Hillbrook welcomes aspiring educators seeking to fulfill their student practicum requirements.
