Also maintains equipment and systems, plans and performs preventative maintenance and reacts to system failures. |

The department of Facilities Management is the second largest user of energy within the County. The department is responsible for maximizing the energy efficiency and use of renewable energy at buildings managed by Facilities Management and providing technical and administrative support to assist other departments in doing the same. All to support reduced energy costs and to achieve the goals established in the County's Climate Action Plan. |

Maintains building grounds and provides snow removal of sidewalks and parking lots at County owned buildings, which includes Board of Elections, Carnegie Building, Civic Center Complex, County Office Building, Court House, Criminal Court House, Center for Forensic Science, District Heating and Cooling Plant, Erie Canal Museum, Everson Museum, Justice Center, Public Safety Building, Sheriff's Headquarters and portions of the Oncenter parking lot. |
