Department Mission

The Department’s mission is to provide managerial engineering and technical expertise for 800 miles of County roads.

The objective is to provide the traveling public with a safe, convenient and efficient network of highways and bridges. For the department's purposes, we have divided the county into four sections. Each section has a shop, equipment and employees to service its roads. Each section is also capable of performing equipment maintenance. One section is equipped to perform major repairs on the department's equipment.

In addition, the department has administrative and engineering offices located at 6230 East Molloy Road, East Syracuse, 13057.
