How to Make Partial Payments

toward Delinquent Real Property Taxes for parcels outside the City of Syracuse

 

Partial Payments on taxes must be $200 or greater.  Fees must be paid in full before partial payments are accepted.

Minimum Payment $200

Each payment toward delinquent taxes must be $200 or greater.  There is no limit to the number of payments accepted. Interest accrues the first of each month on any outstanding balance for all property taxes.

 

Fees not included in taxed amounts must be paid prior to accepting partial payments on taxes.

Fees charged outside of taxed amounts are not subject to partial payments and must be PAID IN FULL before partial payments will be accepted on delinquent taxes (e.g. Administrative Processing Fee, Returned Check Fee).

Partial payments alone do not prevent delinquent tax and enforcement processes (e.g. Billing, Advertising, Auction).  Eligible property owners may enter a formal repayment agreement with the County to prevent auction processing.
