Department Mission

The Division of Purchase supports County operations by providing the right goods and services at the right time and at the right price and thereby providing quality service to its departmental customers and the residents of Onondaga County.


For towns, villages or county departments with items they would like to send to auction, please email ContactPurchasing@ongov.net with a complete listing of item types, condition and when you would be available to deliver those items to the County surplus warehouse on Molloy Road.


What you can do on this site:

  • Review and download copies of the latest contracts offered for bid.
  • Businesses must register to receive this information. Once registered, we will send you an email notification of future bidding opportunities for the products and services you sell.
  • Review awarded contracts and for those entities eligible, purchase from them. Municipalities must register to receive this information.
  • Read the latest news for public entities regarding contracts and others items in County purchasing.
  • Review upcoming auctions and preview items offered to the public for sale.
  • Read the County's policies and procedures for purchasing
