Information meetings about Harbor Brook project

In February, Onondaga County held a series of informal “Open House Informational Sessions” on the Harbor Brook Combined Sewer Overflow Abatement Project:

Saturday, February 8, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Mundy Branch Library's Community Room, 1204 S. Geddes St.

Thursday, February 13, 3:00-5:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Hazard Branch Library's Community Room, 1620 W. Genesee St.

Saturday, February 15, 10:00 a.m.-noon
Delaware St. Baptist Church's Community Room, 101 Dudley St.

These meetings gave interested parties the opportunity to talk with project planners and engineers on an informal basis, to share questions, concerns, and insights. Informational displays and maps were posted at the meetings.

Construction of any of the Harbor Brook CSO projects is years away from today. Onondaga County is currently only in the facilities-planning stage—and is exploring and discussing various technical alternatives.
